These organizations offer support, training, networking, and endorsements to candidates running for office. Explore each and find the right fit for you!

Organizations

Close the Gap California is a statewide campaign to close the gender gap in the California legislature by 2028. They recruit and prepare diverse, progressive women to run for open and winnable swing seats. Today, 20 Close the Gap women are serving in Sacramento.

Emerge offers training for women - largely Black, Brown and Indigenous women, women of color, LGBTQ+ women, young, and unmarried women - to help equip them with the resources, knowledge, connections and community necessary to run for office.

Hispanas Organized for Political Equality® (HOPE) is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization committed to ensuring political and economic parity for Latinas through leadership, advocacy, and education to benefit all communities and the status of women.

Latinas Represent aims to increase the number and diversity of Latinas in public service to transform our communities and build a more reflective democracy. They offer services, events, and resources to voters and candidates alike. 

Run For Something recruits and supports young progressives running for state and local office - especially school boards and local administrator roles - across the United States. Through mentorship and endorsement, Run for Something uplifts candidates addressing local issues.

She Should Run is a nonpartisan nonprofit working to increase the number of women running for public office in order to achieve gender equality. They offer a virtual community and a Starter Kit for navigating beginning a campaign.

She The People's mission is to build power for women of color to lead America to a new political era. This national organization offers a collection of research, articles, and candidate endorsements that centers women of color and their political priorities.

Vote Mama is the first PAC dedicated to increasing the political power of Democratic moms by disrupting the systems that hold women back. Vote Mama offers direct financial support, mentorship, and endorsements for mothers running and serving in office.

Black Women Organized for Political Action’s (BWOPA) mission is to activate, motivate, promote, support, and educate African-American women about the political process, encourage involvement, and to affirm our commitment to, and solving of, those problems affecting the African-American community.

PACs

Emily's List works to elect Democratic pro-choice women across the country by recruiting and training candidates to have strong campaigns and address important issues for women and families in the United States.

Shatter PAC is a grassroots movement dedicated to building a bench of fearless women leaders who advocate for reproductive, social, economic and environmental justice and equity across the Central Coast of California.

The CWLA Political Action Committee is a separate 527 entity that endorses and supports candidates for state and local office, with a special focus on developing and promoting viable women candidates who share CWLA’s principles.

California Women’s List (CWL) is a Political Action Committee that endorses, fundraises for, and elects women to public office in California. Our mission is to elect women who will make California more just and equitable for all.

Fund Her is dedicated to putting women at the helm of local and state government. Founded in 2017, Fund Her has supported 79 winning campaigns in 6 states across the country.
Over 70% of our winning candidates are either women of color or identify as LGBTQ+.
Our candidates advocate for women, people of color, low-income and marginalized communities in their struggle for justice.

Since 1977, the National Organization for Women Political Action Committee (NOW PAC) has worked to elect more uncompromising feminists to the White House and Congress. NOW PAC’s aggressive grassroots organizing and early support for feminist candidates have been changing the faces of those elected to federal office.
